New Index To Members Only Resources

We have added an index to the Members Only data files,
so that non-members can see just what is in those areas.
Only the file names are visible; you have to be a member to access the data.
We hope you will become a GSMC member and do unlimited research.

GSMC Starts Populating A New Photo Collection

GSMC has a significant group of family photos that we have collected over the years,
and we continue to receive regular photo donations from genealogists.
We decided to start digitizing these items and adding them to our online resources.
We hope some of them help YOUR research!

[Look for them in the "Free Databases" tab.]

Any Railroad Ancestors/Relatives?

In the late 1800's-early 1900's the railroad industry was the largest employer in the country,
so your chances of having family members as railroaders are fairly good.
The below site has lots of railroad pension records,
so if you take a look you might be pleasantly surprised.
