Marion County Vet In The Family?

Discharged military members from WW1 to the present were instructed to
record their discharge information at their local county court to make it "secure and official."
These two ledgers below are in the Marion County Recorder's Office
on the 7th floor of the City-County Building, just lying on top of some filing cabinets.
If your guy or gal is part of that group from 1925 to 1964,
you may want to take a look in these to see if there are details you don't have.

Bethel For Genealogists

We have been customizing the massive 3000-page archaeology report

on the Bethel Cemetery Relocation to meet the needs of Marion County genealogists.

First, we had to make all the maps and illustrations face the same direction. (Instead of three ways!)

Second, we had to print out the 35-page Table of Contents (To find specific Items)
and to print out the new 11-page Burials List (To update our previous list)

And Third, to show everyone that this is the redacted public report
with all the human remains photos pixilated out.
(The public won't be seeing your ancestors.)

[Stay tuned for further developments]
