Greenlawn Still Making News

GSMC representatives were among about 100 city residents in the audience at the Biltwell Event Center Tuesday evening to get the latest update on the Henry Street Bridge project.
A prominent part of the presentation was about plans to handle
possible human remains from Greenlawn Cemetery.
Everything from the right side of the sketch below to Kentucky Avenue
goes through the Greenlawn site, so how can they NOT find remains.
This meeting did not even cover the soccer stadium, which will also be in the Cemetery area.
GSMC plans to follow these projects closely to make sure the contractors do it right!

Warren Central Resources Increased

We nearly doubled our Warren Central collection this week, thanks to the Pollard family.
Researchers could still use a lot more;
can you help by contributing some of your material?

Pollard-Murphy-Heller Family Collection Added

We just added the below collection of a Warren Township family.
Shirley's children sent us a great boxful of materials
that included lots of Warren Central High School items.
We were surprised to discover that Shirley is buried right here in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kinda like one of the gang!

We have a good space for YOUR family, too!

Have A Family Story In Photos?

Our family photo collection just grew larger with the recent addition of the Meier and Wechsler files. These are courtesy of Member Partner Judy Jones.
We have two more collections in process and soon to be added.
We would like to add your family to this lineup.
Come on in now and take care of that!

Check Out Early County Roads

Our ancestors sometimes had a hard road to travel.
Take a look at some early transportation routes on this blog.
