Western Electric Directories Added Today

We added five interesting Western Electric telephone directories to our Organizations Section today. The years are 1956, 1958, 1959, 1960, and 1966, and each one is about 60 pages. 

If you remember the massive plant along Shadeland Ave. on the eastside, you know a lot of folks worked there over the years. 

Many employees probably started around WW2 and didn't retire until the 1990's. 

These directories would have been right in the middle of their employment term.
